| | RFQ for multi-year Airport Engineer | The Bethel Regional Airport is seeking to retain the services of a consultant, experienced in the practice of airport planning and engineering advisory services in the State of Maine, as a multi-year Airport Engineer.
The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is posted on the Town's website at http://www.bethelmaine.org and on the State of Maine, Department of Transportation's website at http://www.maine.gov/mdot/cpo/. Proposals will be due no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on September 27, 2016.

NOTICE TYPE: Notice To Airmen (NOTAM)
The runway lighting project has been completed well ahead of schedule. RUNWAY 14/32 and all taxiways are now open. New LED medium intensity runway edge lighting with 3-phases low (3 clicks), medium (5 clicks) and high (7 clicks) and onmi-directional runway end identifier lights (REILs) have been installed and are fully operational. On behalf of the contractor KOBO, the project manager at Stantec and the management team at Bethel Regional Airport thanks everyone for their patience! Have a safe summer.

| | Winter Parking Ban | During the winter months, the Town of Bethel implements a parking ban for snow plowing and/ or removal. Parking bans go into effect at 12:00am and continue in effect until 6:00am the following morning. However, under extreme conditions, the hours may be changed or extended.
All vehicles left on the street during a parking ban will be towed at the owner's expense. |
