Public Works Job Opening

The Town of Bethel is accepting applications for a full-time truck driver, equipment operator and general laborer. A Class B CDL is required along with experience in the operation of heavy equipment including snowplow wing work. Responsibilities include road and some ground maintenance, snow plowing, salting, sanding and other related duties. Overtime hours during the winter months is required. Bethel offers a competitive wage and benefits package. Applicants must be at least 18 year of age. Applicants must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test and all PWD drivers are subject to random State drug and alcohol testing.
