Town of Bethel Boards and Committee Openings

The following Boards and Committees have openings beginning on January 1, 2024:

Appeals Board - 2 openings

Bethel Airport Authority - 1 opening

Bethel Area Recreation Board - 2 openings

Bingham Forest Commission - 2 openings

Budget Committee - 4 openings

Capital Improvement - 1 opening

Conservation Commission - 2 openings

Ordinance Review Committee - 1 opening

Water District Board - 1 Opening

Planning Board - 4 openings *Note - one opening is for 6-9 months to fill in for a member who is away on a leave of absence

If you are interested in being considered for appointment to any of these boards or committees, fill out a Committee Appointment Application form available at the Town Office or on Bethelmaine.org. Applications are due to the Town Clerk no later than December 15th, 2023 by 4PM. The application can be returned to the Town Office in person or by mail at PO BOX 1660 Bethel, Me 04217. Residents are encouraged to contact the Town Clerk for more information.
