Special Town Meeting October 15th at 6:00 pm at The Crescent Park School Gym.

The Town of Bethel will hold a Special Town Meeting, Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Crescent Park School Gym (19 Crescent Lane).

Bethel residents will gather to vote on two critical local warrant articles:

• Data Center Moratorium: Voters will decide on a proposed 180-day temporary freeze on data center developments. This pause allows the town time to study impacts on the local grid and environment while drafting future regulations.

• Wastewater Treatment Plant Funding: Residents will vote on transferring $150,000 from the town’s Undesignated Fund Balance to balance the Wastewater Treatment Plant budget for the 2027 fiscal year. All registered voters are encouraged to attend and cast their votes
