\ The Bethel Regional Airport Authority (FAA identifier 0B1) in Bethel, Maine is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for on-call professional engineering services.
Bethel Regional Airport is a publicly owned general aviation facility located in Oxford County, Maine, adjacent to the Sunday River/Boyne Resorts corridor. The airport is entering a period of focused investment and improvement, and the Authority is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide on-call support across a range of aviation and infrastructure needs.
The scope of on-call services is anticipated to include airfield pavement evaluation and rehabilitation, drainage and grading, FAA grant application and compliance support, obstruction removal, airport layout plan updates, environmental permitting, and general civil engineering consulting as needs arise.
Firms wishing to be considered are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) addressing relevant aviation engineering experience, familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars and grant processes, demonstrated experience with general aviation airports in northern New England, key personnel and their credentials, and a brief description of your firm’s approach to on-call client service.
